U.S. Citizenship Civics Test App

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the "U.S. Citizenship Civics Test" app (the "App"), provided by Ammar Khatib (the "Provider"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Service Description

The App is designed to help you prepare for the U.S. Citizenship Civics Test. It offers:

  • Practice questions covering American Government, History, and Civics
  • Quiz history and personal statistics (for registered users)
  • Bookmark function for questions
  • Optional: Premium subscription for extended features

The App is a study tool and does not replace official test preparation. It is NOT affiliated with USCIS or any U.S. government agency.

3. Registration and Account

Basic features are available without registration. Extended features (quiz history, bookmarks, statistics) require registration.

When registering, you must provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Report any suspected misuse immediately.

The App is intended for users 13 years and older.

4. Premium Subscription

4.1 Features
The Premium subscription includes:

  • Ad-free experience

4.2 Pricing

  • Yearly: $2.99/year

4.3 Payment and Renewal
Payment is processed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before expiration.

4.4 Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription anytime through your App Store or Google Play account settings.

5. Free Usage

Free usage includes:

  • Unlimited quiz attempts
  • All questions with translations
  • Save and quiz from bookmarks
  • Full access to all features

The free version contains advertisements. By using the App, you consent to personalized advertising based on your preferences.

6. Usage Rights and Obligations

You receive a simple, non-transferable right to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Prohibited activities:

  • Sharing login credentials with third parties
  • Commercial use of the content
  • Copying, distributing, or publishing quiz questions
  • Attempting to manipulate the App or bypass security measures
  • Using automated systems to retrieve content

7. Intellectual Property

All App content (text, graphics, logos, software) is protected by copyright and owned by the Provider or licensed third parties.

The quiz questions are based on publicly available USCIS study materials but have been editorially processed.

8. Disclaimer

8.1 Content
The App is exclusively for practice purposes. The Provider makes no warranty for:

  • The accuracy, completeness, or currency of questions and answers
  • Conformity with official test questions
  • Success on the actual citizenship test

8.2 Availability
The Provider strives for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance and technical issues may occur.

8.3 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Provider's liability is limited to intentional misconduct and gross negligence.

9. Privacy

Your personal data is processed according to our Privacy Policy, which you can view in the App under "Privacy Policy".

By using the App, you consent to data processing as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

The Provider reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. You will be notified of significant changes within the App.

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Termination and Suspension

You can delete your account at any time in the App.

The Provider may suspend or delete accounts for violations of these Terms, including:

  • Abusive use
  • Copyright infringement
  • Sharing login credentials

No refunds are provided for Premium subscriptions terminated due to violations.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of California.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
